The danger of starving

Jesus promises that he is the bread of life and that all who come to him will neither hunger or thirst. (John 6)

In our sinful natures we often do not seek to feast on this bread of life but instead chase after the junk food of selfish greed and entitlement.

It is not enough to just go to church when we feel the hunger for the good news of Jesus because our sense of hunger is not accurate. We should gladly hear God’s Word and give thanks and praise to God for his super abundant offerings of good news.
