Life together with our Risen Lord happens daily. In Acts 2:42-47 we find how the disciples called to faith by the Spirit on Pentecost did not make that day of Pentecost a single moment in their lives. They persistently devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles, fellowship, breaking of the bread, and the prayers.
This focus in the community was born out of their unity in Christ. All the believers were of the same and they held all things in common. They were one people, one people in teaching, fellowship, breaking of the bread and prayer. Their unity was not born out of actions that formed the spirit of unity. They were united by baptism on Pentecost, in this unity they devoted themselves to live as one people.
Built up by the Spirit they daily lived in unity.
